Family Support Worker

Family Support at Blairmore

My name is Jacqui Jack and my role at Blairmore is to support parents in any way that I can. Being a parent can be a wonderful experience but it can also be challenging, difficult and exhausting.

Sometimes we just need someone to talk to about our worries and concerns. If you would like any support in relation to you and your family please come and have  a chat. My aim is to help you become more confident in your role as a parent and support you in getting as much out of your time at Blairmore as possible.

We have a wonderful Parents Room which is available for you to use
daily to have a catch up with other parents and carers. Come in and have a coffee or cup of tea.

How Can We Help?

Many parents talk about how hard parenting is. Many of these are very common and I can offer support with:

  • behaviour
  • poor sleeping
  • fussy eating
  • children with additional support needs
  • parents feeling low or isolated
  • information and advice on child development and how you can help support your child at home
  • Easter and Summer play sessions - older children welcome
